Since 1808, we have
been growing vines in the Colli Orientali del Friuli
As early as 1808 our ancestors, Valentino and Maria, are mentioned as farmers and probably winemakers. (Valentino was also a blacksmith). In 1921, Luigi Marinig, their direct descendant, enlarged the agricultural holdings by purchasing some vineyards in Prepotto. Marinig-branded wine first gained recognition in the 1970s, more than fifty years ago...

Come and visit
us: we will tell you about our present, our history, our wines
Our family invites you today to visit the eight hectares of vines we own on the Colli Orientali del Friuli, in the beautiful setting of hilly Friuli, with its lush green landscape, variegated by the terraces on which the vines are arranged in orderly rows, and frequently mirrored by soft clouds frayed in the deep, clear blue sky. You are also welcome to come visit the Cellar, among the barrels guarding our reds, for a tasting of fine reds but also of fresh and richly scented white wines, accompanied by the typical delicacies of this region: an excellent San Daniele ham, some fine Montasio cheese, Grandmother Marisa's pickles...
